About this Event

2022 Theme : Social harmony, upholds humanity.

We firmly believe that marathon is not only a physical exercise but also an attempt to uphold unity, amity and discipline among us as Bangladesh is advancing towards a higher elevation in the global context.

The organizing body has planned to hold at least one regular marathon event in Barisal city every year in continuation of their successful completion of the first event of 2020. However, due to the global epidemic, the event has been postponed to 2021 and the decision has been made to hold the event in 2022.

Our Goal

• To create new runners at the local level as well as in the southern part of the country by organizing regular marathons and to motivate everyone to participate in the running activities at a higher level.
• To raise funds for any charitable work in the future.
• To promote the event at the national and international levels.
• Presenting the history-tradition-culture of greater Barishal to the people of the country and abroad.
